Job Description

We’re looking for a results-oriented sales leader who will be responsible for driving new business sales. As a trusted advisor internally and externally, the Director of Sales must be an effective collaborator and relationship builder, strong people leader, and strategic problem solver/deal level strategist. As the main driver of Riot’s sales, you will:

  • Develop a new sales process to make it more repeatable, reduce sales cycle length, and increase win rates
  • Develop and execute sales campaigns with target on a systematic basis
  • Produce and continually optimize sales messaging and content
  • Hire, lead and manage a high performing sales team
  • Help improve prospect lead generation
  • Generate sales forecasts, monitor results, and provide performance reporting
  • Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape to help overcome roadblocks
  • Clearly articulate Riot’s value proposition to multiple levels of customer stakeholders
  • Communicate marketing concepts directly with Director and C-Level leads
  • Participate in regular company and office meetings to share progress, identify blockers, and drive resolution

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years in marketing / creative agency sales or equivalent
  • Proven ability to hire, develop talent, and manage
  • Enterprise sales experience
  • Demonstrated positive track record in sales
  • Excellent presentation, executive engagement and negotiation skills
  • Successful track record of forecasting with accuracy and predictability
  • Energetic team leader, dedication and an unrelenting drive to succeed and win
  • Experience with CRM and communication systems

Location: Flexible; Primarily on location at Riot HQ in Salt Lake City, UT
